Getting reliable and fully automated builds of software is an important part of any software development process. This solution, by making use of the OrderWare framework, is used in the software development context. This solution is for managing an automated build, integration and test processes that arose from a internal quality assurance at OrderWare. The aim was to reduce development cost and improve development quality by continuous integration and automated test services. These requirements were to be developed beyond what can be done with current open source tools such as Ant and Cruise Control. The Build Automation tool now supports a full build automation system including:

Nightly build, packaging and regression testing

At OrderWare, the Continuous Integration process runs continuously against all software component and component versions during working hours
